Dream weddings in Marbella

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

1. When would be the best time of the year to get married in Spain?

Usually our wedding season extends from May to September, but because our weather tends to be exceptionally temperate and with an average of 320 sunny days per year, other possibilities could be considered. Keep in mind that deciding to host your wedding during the low season could be a money saving strategy.

2. When would be the earliest we should you arrive in Spain before the wedding day?

That would depend on your ceremony type. Usually 48 hours before the day would be fine. However, keep in mind that couples holding a Catholic Church ceremony would need to have a private talk with their priest as a necessary pre-requisite.

3. Are same sex marriages recognized?

Yes, same sex marriages have been allowed since 2005 and consequently same sex couples are able to enjoy the same rights as heterosexual couples.

4. Would my marriage certificate be valid in my home country?

Yes, your marriage certificate will be valid all over the world. We will take care to arrange for a multilingual certificate for you, so that translation would not be an issue either.

5. Could we arrange to visit the venues personally?

Absolutely! We would be delighted to show you around your pre selected venues. We highly recommend viewing the venues with us before booking if you are able. Contact us for further details here (LINK to contact page)

6. When should payments be made?

We required a 50% deposit on engagement of our services. Each venue is different, so we'll let you know individual deposits once we know which venues you are planning to move forwards with. Your full balance should be paid no later than 6 weeks before the date of the wedding.

7. What methods of payment do you accept?

We accept payments by international bank transfer and Paypal. All payments should be made in euros.

8. What would be the ideal time to start planning for our wedding?

Ideally, venues should be secured as soon as possible since the best places tend to be booked months and even years in advance. We usually recommend to start with the process at least 1 year before your intended date. For other services such as flowers, music and photographers, 6 months should be sufficient.

9. Would it be possible to plan a wedding with a very short notice?

It is possible. Symbolic weddings can be organized within a very short notice and we should strive our best to engage your preferred venue and date. Civil weddings would require a bit longer due to the legalities involved. Having said that, let us know what you have in mind, and we'll do our very best to make it happen!

10. Are witnesses required?

For civil weddings, two witnesses over the age of 18 are required. If need be, we are able to supply witnesses on your behalf.

11.Would you care to arrange for additional activities and events around the wedding day?

Yes we would. Just let us know what you would like and we'll be happy to share some options for you to choose from. We'll help you organize an exciting program for you and your guests.

12. I have a different question...

Great...write to us with your query and we'll get back to you as soon as we can!
